Ah, this reminds me, Diane, I just finished up reading Ron Hansen’s MARIETTE IN ECSTASY. Have you read it? Strange and wonderful. Hansen is a deacon in the Catholic Church and a renowned novelist. Mother Theresa came up a few times in the book club discussion about it. The book club is online, through FB and open to everyone (through jesuit.org) if you’re interested. We’re reading Alice McDermott’s THE NINTH HOUR later this summer. Hope you and your family are well!

Hi Rebecca! I’ve been in such a funk lately I can barely write. Thank you so much for the recommendation. I’d love to join you! We’re all doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances. I hope you’re all doing well, too. I’ll see you on the Facebook page!

I understand funk, for sure, Diane, and I’m pulling for you to reignite your writing mojo. When I can’t write, I read, so thankfully there’s that. I do hope you join the FB book club–it’s been great so far, and we have a while now before we start the next book, I think. Take care of yourself!
