Suzannah Gail Collins is the author of a poetry chapbook, I Will Meet You at the River (as Suzannah Gilman), a frequent traveler, and a licensed attorney who represented victims of domestic violence under a grant from the U.S. Dept. of Justice Office on Violence Against Women. Her poetry, essays, fiction, and nonfiction have been published in such publications as The Florida Review, Pearl Magazine, Calyx Journal, The Cafe Review, and The Meridian Anthology of Contemporary Poetry (also as Suzannah Gilman). She is the winner of three flash fiction slams, and she won Literary Death Match Orlando on her fiftieth birthday. Twice nominated for a Pushcart Prize for her poetry, she now blogs here for The Gloria Sirens and writes fiction. She lives in Florida with her husband, the poet Billy Collins, and frequently hops onto airplanes to visit her four children, four daughters-in-law, and two grandsons, all of whom live out of state.
