Vote for a woman. Vote for a person of color. Vote for a Democrat. Vote against fascism, corruption, cruelty, enriching the 1%, racism, sexism, science denying. Vote because your friends will be proud of you. Vote even if your favorite candidate is not on the ballot. Vote because positive change occurs slowly. Vote because the United States is now pitied and ridiculed by other nations. Vote because it’s your right, your privilege, and your duty. If you can, keep yourself safer by voting early, when there are fewer people at the voting booth. Are you going to risk your life to vote? I am, and I’m immunocompromised.
